Welcome to the new season! While our deliveries won’t begin until the week of June 7th, I wanted to send out a test Blog to share some information with you all.
If you are not participating this season, and would prefer not to receive the weekly Blog, please go to the bottom of this post, where you will find a link to unsubscribe.
By now, those of you receiving this Blog who are participating in our CSA, should have received your delivery information…if you have not received it, please get in touch so we can make sure we have the correct address for you, and get the delivery info back out to you again.
The main thing I want to share with you all is our Open House Potluck event! We will open the farm to you and the community on Saturday, June 4th, from Noon to 4pm…we will begin by sharing a potluck meal, so if you wish to join in, bring your favorite potluck dish to share. We’ll then begin with hayride tours around the farm about 1pm, and through out the afternoon…since our 6 year rotation is bringing us back to the home farm, we’re excited for you to see “your” crops growing. There are lots of baby calves to amuse you, and we’ll have some crafts for the children to enjoy….we hope you can make it!
I’m sure many of you are aware of the Mother Earth News publication which has been around for over 40 years….they held their first “Mother Earth News Fair” in Albany last year and will do so again this year. They generously offered to share a discount with our members, and if you choose to attend, you can use this coupon below to receive discounted tickets….unfortunately, it’s on the same weekend as our Open House event, but if you choose to attend the Fair, you can come visit the farm another day…
We’re very excited for the season to begin…..we have many new crew joining us this year, and since it’s the 25th anniversary of our CSA program, we’re looking forward to celebrating our success with one of the main reason’s for our success….ALL OF YOU!! Thanks for choosing us as your farm this year, and we look forward to sharing our healthy, delicious food with you all!
See you soon!
